Sing and Sign

Regular fixtures at the Octagon Centre since 2015, Sing and Sign teaches families of babies and toddlers the incredibly useful and enjoyable skill of Baby Signing. Developed with Speech and Language Therapists, Sing and Sign taps in to all babies’ ability to communicate with gesture before speech, teaching widely-used signs to help your baby develop their language skills. Giving your baby this gift of communication will reduce frustration, boost speech development and give you an amazing insight into your baby or toddler’s thoughts long before they can articulate them with words. It’s magic! Using music, rhyme, pictures and games, our welcoming and friendly classes make learning this valuable skill simple, easy and fun.

Each course is ten weeks long, starting in January, April or September. Classes are kept small so places in each class are strictly limited.
