A robed, mixed choir of adults and children leads the services at St Peter and St Paul’s Church, directed by our Director of Music, Matthew Greenfield, and accompanied by our Organist, John Belcher. As well as leading the hymns, the choir sings a Communion setting and a motet each week, and an introit for festivals. The choir’s repertoire is broad, covering many of the standard works in the English choral tradition from Byrd and Tallis through to modern-day composers such as Rutter and Todd.

The choir enjoys regular social gatherings to look at new music over a glass of wine, with additional rehearsals in preparation for the busier times of Christmas and Holy Week. New members are warmly welcome and should get in touch with the Director of Music in the first instance. There is no formal audition.
